I created 2 augmented reality apps a few months back as part of the CNB Drug Academy Bus. The vehicle is decked out like the inside of a space ship that takes visitors on an educational tour of drug taking. The bus was featured by Channel Newsasia, Straits Times and Mumbrella during a public roadshow held at Vivocity.
The first app features a face tracking and augmentation of face textures that shows the user the effects of drugs on themselves. As for the second app, markers were used for the augmentation of 3D models on them. Relevant information on each drug was communicated through the second app.
It feels great for the apps to be featured on multiple newspapers. It gives me more motivation to make better applications 🙂
